Stu and I headed over to Liverpool today to do the whole museum thing. I haven't had a proper look around these places since school trips when I was kid, and they take on a whole new light as an adult. The road I live on collectively shares the habitation of a fox, has done for the five years I've been living here. They're incredibly beautiful creatures, and there's always something a bit special about watching one majestically hop across your garden or hearing it bark in the night. When I spotted this jumper over the weekend, I bought it in ode to our resident Mr. Fox and as a treat to myself between all the Christmas shopping...

Every year on Stu's birthday, I make sure to drag him away from his screen and his work to forcibly ensure that his day has been celebrated, or at least noted. He's perhaps not as festive as I on such things, but is indulgent enough to tolerate the cakes and cards I throw at him, as well as being wished happy birthday every five minutes. Balloons is where the line is drawn, balloons would be a step too far...
