Flicking through the Dr. Martens site after being enticed there by my curiosity over the Agyness Deyn collection, I was reminded how much I love this shirt when I spotted it amongst the new collection. I had to prize it out of my wardrobe and attack it with the iron before it was anywhere near wearable, but then it was as perfect in August as it was last November.
It's big enough that it's super comfortable to move around in but tailored enough to avoid being shapeless. The Grandad collar gives a little twist on the more classic denim shirt and it proved itself today to be seasonally versatile - a new obsession of mine, I'll try not to go on about it.
We made our weekend-ly pilgrimage over to Liverpool - tactically dodging the Mathew Street Festival traffic - to pick up a few bits and bobs. I tried not to cry when the woman in Utility suggested Momiji might be going under and stockpiled some more tights. On the way home, to make the most of the sunshine, we stopped at festival gardens for a short stroll and Vitamin D absorption. Better get it while I can.
