« Indie-er »

This dress is a great all round solution when faced with one of those complete brain failures in front of the wardrobe. You know, when you just stare blankly at the coat hangers without really taking in what's on them. It's simple enough to wear day to day but stylised enough, with the crushed velvet and flirty hemline, to not feel boring.

Thrown with a little G-Star jacket that I picked up heavily discounted last year, my winter ready beanie to cover perhaps the most atrocious bed head I've ever had and my favourite replacement for heels ... my beloved creepers. An outfit that easily transferred from strolling along the water front looking for an elusive art installation to a birthday meal for my brother on Saturday, where I received perhaps the strangest compliment I've ever had from one of my brother's friends: "You look Indie-er every time a see you." I think it was a compliment anyway ...
