« Kids Are Alright »

It's the kid's summer holidays, and my little brother and sister are free from school but in it's absence ... easily bored. And what's the use of having so many older siblings if you can't look forward to the odd trip out with them? Today Stu and I took our turn.

After spending the whole of the afternoon we spent at Church Farm a few days ago saying "Oh, the kids would love this!" we picked them up and took them there for a few hours. We fed the animals - me almost literally: a donkey nearly bit my fingers off, no joke, I had to pull them out from between his teeth and pretend I didn't want to cry in front of the kids - we played in the playground and had a go on the go-carts. Spending all the time in between getting some fresh air in their lungs and their legs ran off.
