It's been awhile since I've had to pack for longer than an overnight stay at my parent's house. Packing for a holiday has been ... well, almost a decade ago now. It may only be a short holiday to visit the Harry Potter Studio Tour in London, but the thought of trying to gauge what I will want to wear four days ahead, as a rule, fills me horror. I never usually know what I'll feel like wearing until five minutes before I get dressed.
So I leaned heavily on good old reliables, like Black Milk leggings and perfectly slouchy Acne jumpers. This was one of the only outfits I had with me that I didn't wish I could alter in some way with my stuff back at home. I learnt a great deal about the rules of packing over those four days. Rule number one: only ever take with you the items that you feel cool, comfortable and content in. If one of those is missing, then the outfit doesn't work. Black Milk galaxies are eternally reliable for travelling, packing and unpacking and taking a walk around the amazing grounds of the hotel. As are these trainers that are my go-to for comfy shoes and a back pack that's easy to carry but can hold a hell of a lot of crap.
Exactly what you need when away from home.
